Berry-bear has grown up and started his show career with Juliana in Edmonton. At just 6 months of age, Berry was awarded Winners Dog at the Alberta Kennel Club Centennial supported entry. Just under two months later at the Lloydminster Kennel Club Show Berry was awarded a Group 2nd from the Jr puppy class. One week later, at the Battle River Canine Association, Berry went Group 4th and Best Puppy in Group.
Berry spent Thanksgiving (Canadian of course!) weekend in Chicago at the Lakeshore Specialty. He thrilled us by going Best of Opposite in Sweeps under breeder judge Robert Simpson. Back in Edmonton, at the NACA show one week later, Berry went Best Puppy in Group. To finish his Canadian Championship at the age of 9 months, Berry won 2 BOB and 2 more Best Puppy in Groups at the Red Deer KC show.
Berry has made LOTS of friends along the way with his beautiful dark eyes and endearing personality. Although he cleans up well for shows, Berry is all puppy boy. He enjoys playing in the mud, chasing his girlfriend, Morgen, and bringing smiles in his work as a therapy dog.
We wish to thank Juliana for all her hard work in raising and training Berry and hope he continues his winning ways for us.
